"Sabah" FC has appointed a new head coach. A three-year contract has been signed with Lithuanian specialist Valdas Dambrauskas.

Throughout his coaching career, Dambrauskas has managed Lithuanian sides Ekranas (2013–2014) and Žalgiris (2014–2017), Latvia's RFS (2017–2020), Croatian clubs Gorica (2020–2021) and Hajduk Split (2021–2022), Bulgaria's Ludogorets (2021), Greece's OFI Crete (2022–2023), Cyprus's Omonia (2024) and most recently Hungary’s Diósgyőr (2025).

As a head coach, Valdas Dambrauskas has won the Bulgarian championship once (2020/21), the Lithuanian championship twice (2014/15, 2015/16), the Latvian Cup once (2018/19), the Lithuanian Cup three times (2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17), the Croatian Cup once (2021/22), the Lithuanian Super Cup twice (2015/16, 2016/17), and the Bulgarian Super Cup once (2021/22).
