Welcome, Veljko Simić!

Sabah has strengthened its squad with a new player. An agreement has been reached with Turkey’s Sivasspor regarding the transfer of Serbian attacking midfielder Veljko Simić. Under the deal, the player will play for our team on a one-year loan.

Throughout his career, Simić has played for Sivasspor as well as Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda (2012-2013, 2018-2021), Zemun (2018), Vojvodina (2021-2023), Switzerland’s Basel (2013-2017), Schaffhausen (2016), Chiasso (2016-2017), Winterthur (2017), Slovenia’s Domžale (2014-2015), and Cyprus’ Omonia (2023-2025).

Veljko has also represented Serbia at various youth levels and the senior national team. He will wear the number 21 jersey at Sabah.
