Abdulla Khaybulayev made his debut for our national team

The Azerbaijan national team played its next match in the World Cup qualifiers, facing Ukraine in Baku. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

This match was a special one for Sabah midfielder Abdulla Khaybulayev. Starting in the lineup and being substituted in the 78th minute, Abdulla made his debut for our national team. Alongside him, another Sabah player, Anatoli Nuriyev, also featured in the game, coming on in the 66th minute.

Meanwhile, Khayal Aliyev represented our U-21 national team. Starting in the home match against Bulgaria in the European Championship qualifiers, Khayal played the full game. That match also ended in a 1-1 draw.
