Sabah FC have strengthened their squad with a new player. Gabonese forward Patrick Orphe Mbina will now work for the success of our team. The 25-year-old footballer has joined Sabah FC on loan from Slovenia’s Maribor. The loan agreement is valid until the end of the current season. According to the agreement between the parties, Sabah FC will have the right to sign the player on a permanent transfer at the end of the loan period.

Throughout his career, Mbina has played for Gabon’s Port-Gentil (2016–2018), France’s Colomiers (2018), Béziers B (2019–2020), Grenoble B (2020–2021), Beauvais (2021–2022), Chamalières (2022–2023), Nîmes (2023–2024), Portugal’s Leiria (2025, loan), and Slovenia’s Maribor (2024–2025). The player is also a member of the Gabon national team, for which he has made 5 appearances.
