SABAH
A football pitch for children has been inaugurated in the Old City through the initiative of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration and with the support of Sabah FC. Designed in harmony with the area's historical and architectural environment, the project aims to encourage children to engage in sports, spend their free time actively and productively, and contribute to the popularization of football.
During the opening ceremony held on May 31, Chairman of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, Rufat Mahmud, Chairman of the Old City Council of Elders, Aliheydar Dadashov, and Coordinator of the Sabah Football Academy, Georgi Minashvili, delivered speeches.
The event featured a range of fun and sports-oriented activities for children. Afterwards, the first match on the newly opened pitch was played with the participation of the children.
