FIFA and international football representatives attend Sabah match

On October 25, Sabah FC played their first match at their new home ground, Sabah Arena. The landmark occasion was also attended by senior figures from the international football community visiting Azerbaijan for FIFA U-15 events.

The guests included FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Chief of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf, as well as the heads and representatives of several national football associations.

They watched Sabah take on Qarabağ in the standout fixture of the Azerbaijani league round, witnessing a significant milestone in our club’s history — our first match at our new home ground.

The presence of such distinguished figures from the international football community was of particular significance to our club and reflected the growing interest in Azerbaijani football and its development.
