Eight “Sabah” FC players have been called up to represent their respective national teams.
Rəhman Daşdəmirov, Abdulla Khaybulayev, and Anatoliy Nuriyev have joined the Azerbaijan senior national team, while Rəvan Mirzəmmədov, Şahin İbrahimov, and Khayal Aliyev have been called up to the Azerbaijan U-21 squad.
In addition, our goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov has been called up to the Kazakhstan national team, and our midfielder Umarali Rakhmonaliyev will represent Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team will face France at “Parc des Princes” on October 10 and Ukraine at the “Cracovia” Stadium in Krakow, Poland, on October 13 as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The U-21 national team will play against the Czech Republic away on October 10 and host Scotland on October 14 in the UEFA European Championship qualifiers.
Kazakhstan will face Liechtenstein at home on October 10 and North Macedonia away on October 13 in their World Cup qualifying campaign, while Uzbekistan will play friendly matches against Kuwait on October 9 and Uruguay on October 13.
