A new head coach appointment has been made at “Sabah” FK. Russian coach Vasili Berezutski has signed a 2.5-year contract with the club.
The young specialist has previously worked as an assistant coach for the Dutch club “Vitesse” (2018-2019), Russia’s CSKA (2020-2021, 2022), “Krasnodar” (2021-2022), and China’s “Shanghai Shenhua” (2023-2024). He also served as the sports coordinator for CSKA Moscow in 2020. As a player, Berezutski represented Russia’s “Torpedo-ZIL” and CSKA Moscow.
He played 101 matches for the Russian national team, scoring 5 goals.
