The second-leg matches of the Azerbaijan Cup quarterfinals have taken place. "Sabah" played away against "Sumqayıt" in this round, winning 4:0 (the first leg ended in a 0:0 draw), and secured a place in the semifinals. After the match, our head coach Vasili Berezutski shared his thoughts at the press conference:
"Cup games are never easy, they are always tough. Our first match ended in a 0:0 draw. Today, we scored all the goals we weren’t able to in the previous two games against Sumqayıt. The players deserve praise for earning a spot in the next stage. I congratulate everyone on the victory."
