Sabah's U-13 and U-15 Teams Participate in International Tournament in Antalya

The “Junior World Cup” international football tournament held in Antalya, Turkey, where “Sabah”’s U-13 and U-15 teams took part, has concluded.

The U-13 team defeated “Konyaspor” 3–1 and “Hatay Altın Gençlik” 11–0, finishing the group stage in second place. In the match against “Konyaspor,” the goals were scored by Yusif Agayev, Ali Huseynli, and Ibrahim Sadiyev. In the game against “Hatay Altın Gençlik,” the scorers were Yusif Agayev (5), Jalal Mammadli (3), Huseyn Musayev, Chingiz Muslumov, and Eltun Mammadov.

Coached by Nasir Nasirli, the team competed for 9th place, defeating Turkey's "Kadriyespor" 9–0, Belarus' "Energetik" 3–0, and Turkey's "Ozerspor" 1–0. Against "Kadriyespor," the goals were scored by Yusif Agayev (3), Jalal Mammadli, Elman Tahirov, Chingiz Muslumov, Amal Shikhkerimzade, Huseyn Musayev, and Ali Huseynli. In the match against "Energetik," the goals came from Yusif Agayev, Huseyn Musayev, and Ayhan Huseynov. Yusif Agayev scored the only goal in the match against "Ozerspor." “Sabah” finished the tournament in 9th place out of 36 teams.

The U-15 team beat “Konyaaltı” 2–1 and “Manisa” 7–0 to finish the group stage as leaders. In the match against “Konyaaltı,” the goals were scored by Revan Mammadov and Ayhan Ibadov. Against “Manisa,” the scorers were Firdovsi Sheydayev (2), Ayhan Ibadov (2), Khazar Huseynzade (2), and Revan Mammadov.

Coached by Shahin Zeynalov, the team lost 0–2 to England’s “Fulham” in the quarter-finals. In the battle for 5th–8th places, they defeated Kazakhstan’s OINA 6–0, with goals from Ruslan Abilov, Revan Mammadov (2), Chingiz Mammadov (2), and Nizami Nabiyev. In the match against Turkey’s “Samsunspor,” the game ended 1–1, and the team lost 6–7 in the penalty shootout. The team’s only goal in that match was scored by Firdovsi Sheydayev. The U-15 team finished 6th out of 24 teams in the tournament.
