Sabah’s U-11 team finishes 5th in Georgia

Sabah’s U-11 team took part in the international football tournament Shota Cup held in Batumi, Georgia.

Coached by Arslan Guliyev, the team faced Golden Boys (6:1), Makhinjauri A (1:2), Dolphins Batumi (3:1), and Batusi (3:1) in the group stage. Finishing second in their group, Sabah were eliminated in the quarterfinals after a goalless draw against “Kobuleti,” losing in the penalty shootout.

 In the playoffs for 5th–8th places, our team defeated Bombora Kobuleti (5:1) and Uqimerioni Tbilisi (1:0), ultimately securing 5th place in the tournament.
