The draw for the 2025/26 UEFA Youth League
has been made. Sabah will begin its campaign from the second qualifying round.
According to the results of the draw, our team will face France’s Nantes in
this stage. Head coach of our U-19 team, Adino Mustedanagić, shared his
thoughts on the outcome of the draw:
“I think we got the hardest possible
opponent. French football school is well
known all over the world. Nantes was also semi-finalist before two years of
Youth League, so this shows that they
have good results in this competition and also they are well known academy from
France. Nevertheless, we don't give up
and we will do our maximum to represent Azerbaijan football in the best
possible way. We are looking forward to
these matches and it will be great experience for our players”.
