Historic Champions League Victory for Sabah!

Sabah have written a new chapter in their UEFA Champions League history. Our team defeated Czech side Slavia Prague 2–0 in their first home match of the league phase, securing their first victory at this stage of the competition.

Kahim Parris and Joy-Lance Mickels scored our goals at Baku Olympic Stadium. Playing in front of their home supporters for the first time in the league phase of Europe’s most prestigious club competition, our team claimed their first three points with two unanswered goals.

This result holds special significance for our club. Having achieved the historic milestone of qualifying for the Champions League league phase, Sabah have built on that success with a victory in their first home game. The win over Slavia Prague marks another important milestone in our club’s development and reflects the collective efforts of our players, coaching staff and the entire Sabah family.

We thank all our supporters who shared this historic night with us and cheered our team on from the stands. Celebrating our first home victory on European football’s biggest stage together makes this achievement even more special.

First home match, first victory, first three points! This night will hold a special place in Sabah’s Champions League journey.
